A photographic investigation of human perception and the discrepancy of how one perceives the world compared to how others do.

How do we develop an awareness for our body? And how does our mind construct reality?  

Each of us sees the world in a different way. We feel different and we act different. Consciousness is a private condition.

The glass element with its pixilated surface stands metaphorically for this invisible, but omnipresent, barrier in human relationships. We will never fully understand what another human experiences.

The sentiments of humans are so called Qualia – impressions that can only be understood by the person perceiving them.
